## **A payment method your readers already know and trust.**

MercadoPago is one of the most widely used digital wallets in Latin America. Starting today, storefronts operating in **Chile** and **Mexico** can offer it as a payment option at checkout.

## How it works

- **Seamless redirect:** At checkout, the reader selects MercadoPago and is redirected to complete the payment in their MercadoPago account
- **Multiple funding sources:** Readers can pay using their MercadoPago balance, linked cards, or installment plans available in their account
- **No extra setup needed:** If your storefront operates in Chile or Mexico, MercadoPago Wallet is already available as a payment method

💡 **Result:** A smoother checkout experience for readers who already have MercadoPago, reducing friction and abandoned carts.
