General metrics of your Virtual Library

Your Virtual Library is connected to Google Analytics to provide you with information about incoming users and their behavior.  Remember that you can connect your own Analytics account so you have access to a much more precise detail about those data and with more variants.

To see these statistics you must go to Control Panel -> Analytics

Browse the statistics of your Library

The Analytics tab will show you the data in five sections:

A) Page views:

In this section you can see how many users (in the “Users” column) read from each of the different devices. The device options are: Desktop, mobile and tablet. For example, in the image below you will see that more than 62% of all users read posts from a cell phone. You can also see in the column page views, how many pages, in their nominal value, were read from each of the devices.

B) Average Reading Duration:

In this section you will see on your left the “Average duration of the session”, which is nothing more than the average time spent consuming your publications by each of your users.

Then in the graphic on the right you can see the number of sessions per day in the last 30 days. This shows the number of times at least one of your users logged in to consume your posts.

With these two metrics you can know (among other things):

What day of the month (or week) do your users consume your content? And so publish your special content on those days or launch your weekly publication on the right day.

How does the average reading time fluctuate? (You should keep a record of this metric, observe whether it goes up or down and evaluate whether or not your content improves over time.)

C) Location of sessions:

In this section you will be able to see from which country in the world the visits to your digital library were made. In the right sector you will be able to see the main 5 countries, but if you move the mouse over the map you will be able to interactively see the number of sessions in each of the countries of the world that your content is consumed.

D) Content:

In this section you will find the 8 most visited contents of your library in the last 30 days. This way you will be able to know which are the contents that your users most value, identify a constant (or some main characteristics) and draw conclusions so that the new contents that you plan to create are a complete success.

E) Sources:

Finally, this section shows where your users came from to your digital library. So, if you are investing in advertising campaigns or carrying out marketing actions, you will know which are the most valuable traffic sources for you and your business.
