About the role
Customer Acquisition | Pipeline Development | Revenue Growth. We are looking for a results-driven Head of Growth & New Business to lead new customer acquisition efforts and build a high-performing pipeline. This is a quota-carrying role at the intersection of marketing strategy, sales execution, and revenue operations — ideal for a builder who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Top-of-Funnel & Pipeline Management: Develop, supervise, and continuously optimize strategies for top-of-funnel lead generation and pipeline development.
- Define and manage pipeline health metrics, ensuring sufficient volume and velocity to meet revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and deploy demand generation programs across digital, event, and partner channels.
- Sales Cycle Management & Quota Attainment: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, ensuring deals progress efficiently and predictably.
- Meet or exceed individual quota targets with a focus on new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in CRM, providing regular reporting to leadership.
- Events & Industry Presence: Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to drive brand awareness and new business.
- Develop and standardize best practices and playbooks for the revenue team to follow when attending industry events.
- Partnerships & Association Strategy: Identify, evaluate, and build strategic partnerships with industry associations, alliances, and channel partners to drive customer acquisition.
- Manage ongoing partner relationships, co-marketing initiatives, and joint go-to-market programs.
- Leverage partner networks to expand reach and accelerate sales cycles.
- Standardized Outreach & Cross-Functional Coordination: Create scalable, standardized outreach frameworks for prospecting current and future clients across all stages of the funnel.
- Champion messaging consistency and brand alignment across all customer-facing channels.
- Revenue Strategy & Forecasting: Establish and execute both short-term revenue initiatives and long-term demand generation strategy.
- Own revenue forecasting for your territory or segment, with clear accountability for pipeline coverage ratios.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform marketing investment, channel prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Revenue Cycle Optimization: Monitor and improve processes across the full revenue cycle — from initial customer acquisition through engagement, onboarding, and long-term success.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to improve conversion rates at each stage of the funnel.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in demand generation, sales, or a combined revenue-focused role, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a new business, outbound-focused sales role.
- Experience building and executing multi-channel demand generation programs (events, digital, partnerships, outbound).
- Strong understanding of the full revenue funnel — from awareness and acquisition through to retention and expansion.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies and clear executive reporting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority across sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with industry association partnerships or channel sales.
- Background selling into publishers, media, education, or digital content industries.
- Experience owning revenue forecasting and pipeline coverage ratios at a segment or territory level.
