Meet us at BIBF 2026

Tell us about your catalog and we'll show you the available time slots at the China National Convention Center.

About you
Your organization

We'll only use your information to coordinate the meeting and share relevant publishing resources.

Sell globally

One platform. Readers in 50+ countries. Zero infrastructure to build.

BIBF is where rights move across borders. Publica.la is what happens after the deal — the technology layer that takes your catalog from your warehouse to a reader's phone in Beijing, São Paulo, Lagos or Madrid, without you assembling a global tech stack.

Your branded D2C storefront

Your domain, your colors, your catalog. We provide the ebook, audiobook and online reader engine, the checkout, the reader accounts and the analytics. No code, no IT project.

White-label native apps

Your reading apps on iOS, Android, macOS and Windows — published under your brand on the App Store and Google Play. Readers download them in their home country, in their own language.

Vito AI — chat with the book

Every title becomes a conversation. Readers ask questions, get instant summaries and auto-generated quizzes. Built for comprehension and engagement, with full source attribution.

The hard parts — done for you

Security. Payins. Payouts in your currency.

Selling globally usually means rebuilding piracy protection, payment processing and FX settlement from scratch. With Publica.la, all three are included from day one.

Security

Your catalog never leaves a hardened perimeter

  • Proprietary DRM with military-grade AES encryption. Assets stream encrypted end-to-end. Files are never stored locally on a reader's device — there is nothing to copy.
  • Signed, session-scoped URLs. Just-in-time content fragments auto-expire, stopping link-sharing and bulk extraction.
  • Real-time threat observability. Live telemetry flags anomalies and auto-mitigates — credential sharing, scraping, abnormal download rates.
  • Enterprise-grade infrastructure. SOC 2-aligned controls, encrypted at rest and in transit, 99.9% uptime monitoring.

Payins

Readers pay you in their own currency, however they prefer

  • 30+ currencies accepted. Prices display in the reader's local currency — no surprise FX conversion at checkout.
  • Cards, wallets, local methods. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, plus country-specific rails wherever they matter.
  • Tax & invoicing handled. VAT, GST and digital-goods tax computed and remitted on your behalf. Invoices generated automatically.
  • Subscriptions, one-time, bundles, gifting. Every monetization model your catalog needs, out of the box.

Payouts

We pay you in your own local currency — every month

  • Monthly settlement in your currency. You sell in CNY, USD, EUR or BRL — we consolidate and wire you in the currency you actually use.
  • Transparent FX, no hidden spread. Every transaction is visible in your dashboard at the rate it was settled.
  • Multiple payout rails. Wire transfer, PayPal or local payment methods, depending on your country.
  • One account for the whole world. No setting up entities in each country, no reconciling six processors. Just sales and payouts.
Why meet at BIBF

The 40th edition is about going global — and that's our home turf

Founded in 1986, BIBF is the second-largest book fair in the world and Asia's most international. The 2026 edition celebrates the 40th anniversary with the United Arab Emirates as Country of Honor, a first-ever IP licensing zone, an expanded ComicHub, and a new Online Publishing Joint Pavilion focused on AI.

For the publishers, presses and bookshops walking the aisles, the conversation is the same: how do we sell our catalog beyond our own borders without rebuilding our tech stack? That's exactly the conversation we'd like to have with you.

Common questions

Is the meeting free?
Yes — there is no cost. The meeting is a consultative conversation about your catalog, your goals and how Publica.la might fit. No pitch deck, no commitment.
How long is each meeting?
Slots are 30 minutes. If we need more time we can schedule a follow-up later in the week or after the fair closes.
Can we meet virtually if I am not attending BIBF?
Yes. We hold both on-site meetings at the China National Convention Center and virtual meetings during the same June 17–21 window. When you book, just note your preference.
Which currencies can my readers pay in, and which one do you settle in?
Readers can check out in 30+ currencies — including CNY, USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, KRW, AED, INR and more — using cards, digital wallets and local payment methods. You receive a single consolidated monthly payout in your home currency, by wire transfer, PayPal or country-specific rails.
How does Publica.la protect my catalog from piracy?
Content is protected by our proprietary DRM with military-grade AES encryption. Files stream encrypted end-to-end and are never stored locally on a reader's device. Signed, session-scoped URLs prevent link-sharing, and real-time observability flags abnormal behavior so abuse can be auto-mitigated.
Who handles taxes and invoicing for international sales?
We do. VAT, GST and digital-goods taxes are computed and remitted on your behalf, with automatic invoice generation. You get a single dashboard with every sale, every refund and every payout — no per-country reconciliation on your side.
Do you have a stand at BIBF?
We attend specifically for scheduled meetings rather than a booth, so each conversation gets full attention instead of a passing interaction. We come to you at your stand, the press room or a quieter spot in the hall.
